How to Create and Send Quotes in LeadLock AI
LeadLock AI's built-in quoting system (QuoteSnap) lets you create professional quotes, link them to leads, and track every stage from draft to accepted. No more switching to QuickBooks or PandaDoc—quotes live right inside your CRM alongside the lead's timeline, conversations, and pipeline stage.
Why built-in quotes matter
Most CRMs can't generate quotes. Users end up juggling spreadsheets, DocuSign, and separate invoicing tools. With quotes built into LeadLock AI, the entire sales flow—lead capture, qualification, quote, acceptance—happens in one platform.
- ✅Quote is linked to the lead record—full context in one place
- ✅Status tracking: draft → sent → viewed → accepted/declined
- ✅Revenue analytics from accepted quotes
- ✅No extra software or monthly fees for quoting
Creating a quote
Go to CRM → Quotes and click 'Create quote.' Fill in the title, optionally link it to a lead, and add your line items.
- Enter a title (e.g. 'Roof Repair Quote' or 'Marketing Retainer Proposal')
- Select a lead from the dropdown (or leave as standalone)
- Add line items: description, quantity, and unit price
- Click '+ Add line' for additional services
- Set the tax rate (e.g. 8 for 8%)
- Add any notes (payment terms, conditions)
- Click 'Create quote'—totals are calculated automatically
Quote status lifecycle
Every quote goes through a clear status flow. You control transitions from the quote list.
- ✅Draft — just created, not yet shared with the customer
- ✅Sent — you've shared the quote (via email, SMS, or link)
- ✅Viewed — the customer has opened the quote
- ✅Accepted — deal won; revenue counted in analytics
- ✅Declined — customer said no; logged for analysis
- ✅Expired — past the validity date without response
Quotes on the lead profile
When a quote is linked to a lead, it appears in the Quotes section of that lead's detail page. You can see all quotes for a lead at a glance—with status badges and totals. This means your sales team never has to search for 'did I send them a quote?'
Quote analytics
The Quotes page shows four key metrics at the top: total quotes, sent, accepted, and revenue from accepted quotes. As you send more quotes, you'll see your conversion rate and average deal size emerge.
- ✅Total quotes created
- ✅Quotes sent vs. accepted (conversion rate)
- ✅Revenue from accepted quotes
- ✅Track which services generate the most revenue
