Where do new leads appear?

New leads from any source (form, chat, SMS, webhook, or manual add) appear in: • Leads list (CRM → Leads), usually with newest first. • Pipeline in the “New” (or first) stage (CRM → Pipeline). • Dashboard counts and recent activity.

Open a lead from the list to see full details, timeline, and set follow-up.

How do I edit a lead?

1. Open the lead from Leads (click the row or name). 2. On the lead detail page, click “Edit” or the edit control next to the fields you want to change. 3. Update name, email, phone, company, source, status, assigned to, or next follow-up. 4. Save. Changes appear on the lead and in the pipeline if you changed status.

How do I delete a lead?

1. Open the lead (Leads → click the lead). 2. Use the “Delete” or “Delete lead” action (often in a menu or at the bottom). 3. Confirm. The lead is removed from the list and pipeline. This usually cannot be undone.

How do I search and filter leads?

On the Leads page you can: • Search: Use the search box to find by name, email, phone, or company. • Filter by status: Choose a status (New, Contacted, Qualified, etc.). • Filter by source: e.g. website, chat, Make.com, manual. • Filter by tag: If you use tags, filter by tag. • Sort: Change sort (e.g. newest first, follow-up date).

Results update as you type or change filters.

How do I add a note? Where do I set the next follow-up?

On the lead detail page: • Notes: Type in the “Add a note” field and submit. The note appears in the Notes section and on the Activity timeline. • Next follow-up: In the Follow-up section, pick a date/time and click “Save date.” To clear it, click “Clear.” The lead then shows in the dashboard follow-up queue.

How do I export or import leads?

Export: CRM → Leads. Use “Export” or “Export CSV” to download the list (often filtered by your current search/filters). Import: CRM → Leads → Import (or Settings). Upload a CSV with columns like name, email, phone, company, source. Map columns to LeadLock fields and run the import.

Where to find it and how it works

Leads are the core of the CRM: each person who has shown interest is a lead. Find the Leads area in the main CRM navigation. The page has an Add lead form on the left and a Search and list panel on the right with filters, search, and lead cards. Click a lead to open the full record with details, notes, activity timeline, and actions.

Step-by-step: Select and delete multiple leads

1. Go to CRM then Leads. 2. Check Select all to select all visible leads, or check individual lead checkboxes. 3. When at least one lead is selected, a bar appears. Click Delete selected. 4. In the confirmation modal, read the warning and click Delete N leads to proceed or Cancel to abort. 5. After deletion, the list refreshes.

Best practices

Set a next follow-up date on leads you are working. Add notes after each call or email. Use status and tags consistently. Export periodically for backup. When importing CSV, map columns carefully and check for duplicates.

Why a lead may not appear

Refresh the page. Check filters (status, source) on the Leads page. If the lead came from a form or webhook, confirm the submission reached the correct account and URL. Check that you are not on a filtered view that excludes the lead.
