Nexus credits: warnings, robotic voice, and turning Nexus off
Nexus warns you before its AI allowance runs out and lets you choose what happens at the limit. Alerts, booking notices, and Ava's phone calls are never affected.
Overview
Nexus answers and Nexus voice use AI credits from your plan. When you get close to the limit (80% by default), owners and admins see a warning with three choices.
Your choices
- 1
Add credits: keep the full natural voice and AI answers.
- 2
Robotic voice: Nexus keeps working with a lower-cost voice. This is the default at the limit if nobody chooses.
- 3
Turn Nexus off: Nexus voice and AI answers stop until you turn it back on.
- 4
Your choice is saved in Settings. If usage climbs to the next level, you are asked again.
Tips
- Notifications, lead and booking alerts, and Ava answering your phone keep working no matter what you choose here.
- Owners and admins can turn Nexus off at any time, regardless of credits.
